I recently ordered a cock ring from the F&E store. I didn't follow the advice exactly, because I went with the 2 1/8" Imperial as my first ring.
Now, I am a larger fellow. Somewhere around the 95th percentile in girth/length, and nearly 6" circumference around the base.. When looking for size, I first tried one of those trendy rubber bracelets. A 2 1/2" band was comfortable, and got snug when I was erect, but I knew it could be snugger. I then bought a cheap solid ring at a hardware store, and found that 2" was barely too tight and uncomfortable. In fact, it was somewhat cutting bloodflow to my penis, making it difficult to get a full erection in the first place. I know for a fact that less than 2" would be painful.
I'm looking into a vibrating ring, but I've read reviewers saying they are sometimes designed for small/average sized men, and don't stretch enough for larger men.
I therefore have two questions:
What would be a good vibrating ring that would assuredly work with a larger guy, and...
Is it possible to attach a bullet vibe to a solid steel ring?
(PS, this is somewhat preliminary, as I have not yet received the 2 1/8" Imperial, so I might update as I try it on. But I know I couldn't go below the 2" anyway.)
just out of curiosity, was the ring you picked up at the hardware store a 2" internal or external diameter? Trust me...it makes a big difference!
A lot of times those steel rings are measured to the outside of the ring and not the inside, sooo, you may have infact purchased a ring that was as small as 1 1/2" internal diameter. But based on the dimentions you've given a 2 1/8 should do you just about right!
Hope it all goes well for you.

Every ring was measured using the interior dimensions. I figured the outside dimensions were completely irrelevant.

I got the ring. Holy cow, Freddy & Eddy go all out. The items were shipped in only 3 days over a weekend. I have no idea how that happened. They also threw in some goodies, and a couple batteries for the layaspot! I am looking at buying a lot more from here, by the way.
Also, the 2.125" ring fits quite snugly. (Yeah, I know. I'm lucky.) While I'm still interested in a vibrating ring, it seems as though I could tape an egg to this metal ring. Seriously... take an egg, and a bit of electrical tape, and connect them. Voila. Shoot, I could tape a few to it, if I really wanted to.
Sloppy, you should look into the little vibrator that they use on the "SCreaming O". It's a very small compact vibe, but definitely powerful. When I tried it out it made my entier package buzz. I think you could pretty easily attach it to the metal ring if you wanted to use that in lieu of a stretchy ring that it comes with.
