Ok, so what exactly does a butt plug do? I know its anal sex related, but is it a preparatory apparatus or stimulatory?? Or both?

The butt plug doesn't really do anything for me. It's really a pain in the butt (pardon the pun) - popping out frequently. I much prefer a skinny vibrator which makes my orgasms much more intense.

some people like the feeling of fullness it gives, some people like the "movement" from having it in during daily activities. there are a lot of reasons....i don't care for it, but like prostate message. just my preference.

I enjoy,once in a while, something up my butt because if the feeling i get from it. Hi V have to disagree with you on this one... a butt plug is not just to get you used to the anal muscles being stretched it can give the wearer greater enjoyment during penetrative sex. The man more so than the woman for obvious reasons.
Booty... porn is not the real world... wearing a normal size butt plug for an hour is not going to stretch your anus out of shape, it is a muscle so it is used to being stretched every day.

While a plug IS a confortable and practical way to stretch the muscles before getting to anal sex, that is far from being the only purpose. I think the most enjoyable use is during oral sex, makes all sensations so intense.

Also let me add that sphincter muscles are made to stretch and then go back to their original configuration, like anybody who ever had a poop in their lives should have noticed. Using a butt plug will not make your asshole gross.
