Most of the time, the topic of removal of pubic hair revolves around women. It should revolve around men, though, as well. To be point blank about it, if you're going to make love for six or seven hours, your hair will hurt you as much as hers will. If your GF/Wife is up for it, do yourselves a favor and get mutually bald.

I've been playing around with this idea for years, but I always came up against the same problem. Shaving testicles is, at best, tricky. The skin is wrinkled and loose. It's really easy to cut yourself, and nobody wants that.

Then, there are the depilatories. Except I keep hearing the warnings about how harsh and painful they are. Do I want that kind of umbrage on me? Nope.

Well, I heard about something called Magic, and decided that if there was one that worked, maybe there were others. So I went out and got a depilatory. One specifically for the 'bikini' area.

The testing was very careful. Test it on 1 square centimeter on the stomach. Doesn't hurt. One square centimeter on the pubis. Doesn't hurt. One square centimeter on the penis. Doesn't hurt. One square centimeter on the scrotum. Doesn't hurt.

The product I used was "Sally Hansen Spa Extra Strength creme bikini hair remover." Give it a shot. Do the tests first, though. People are different. What works for me might not work for you.

Actually, yes. That's what jump-started this after about 12 years. The point not being the depilatory. The point being the possible painful side-effects. Every single depilatory (including the one I used) has warnings all over it about not using it around 'Genitals', 'Peri-anal regions', and on and on. Despite the fact that it's marketed specifically for the 'bikini' area, which is, remarkably, about half a centimeter from the genitals.

I know my own equipment. It's very sensitive. I'm not really up for giving it a lasting chemical burn, and am therefore somewhat careful about what I do in that area. I've actually shaved it. It took nearly four hours, but I did it.

What I have found, however, is that the depilatories aren't such a big problem unless you put them in the mucous membranes. In men, that would be the urethra, in women, the vagina, and in both, the anus. Those are the parts that will get hurt. If you keep it off those areas, it's all good.

But, as I said, everybody is different. Be careful.
