My first question would have to be this- are you normally lubricated in the sense of feminine discharge or are you finding that you become dry and the inner areas of your reproductive system rub together? I ask this question because there are products out there that are inserted into the vaginal opening and are used specifically to keep the insides of the woman lubricated due to the aging process. Replens is one of them. Hope this helps ~Kathy~

Hi anna! I don't think it's an unusual problem. I also don't get very wet, we have to use a lot of Sliquid, which is never a problem. I was on the Pill, and just switched to another form of b.c., and I'm pretty sure that the Pill had something to do with the amount of lubrication I would produce. I think it's getting better now, but time will tell. Make sure that your guy understands that not all women become faucets when they become aroused. A lot of guys assume that you're not into whatever you are doing sexually because of the lack of lubrication, when usually that's not true. I know I could be the horniest gal out there, and, like you, NADA! So, make sure he realizes that it's not a big deal, and it's a pretty easy thing to fix, either through changing meds (maybe antihistimines like ajay said, Kathy's lubrication suggestion, or birth control) or just using a lot of lube.

Histamine is an important body chemical that is responsible for the congestion, sneezing, and runny nose that a patient suffers with an allergic attack or an infection. Antihistamine drugs block the action of histamine, therefore reducing the allergy symptoms. For the best result, antihistamines should be taken before allergic symptoms get well established. if you take antihistamine for an allergy or cold it can cause dryness in your vagina also.
