Any suggestions ...short of bolting the thing to the floor....on how to stop the bed and headboard jumping across the floor?
We have hardwood floors and a mirrored headboard with empty shelves because we're fed up of them emptying themselves !!Smiler
The bed is about a foot away from the wall after last night AND at a 45 degree angle!
We're usually too tired after the sexercise to move them bed back and wish it would just stay put!
Any suggestions???

Maybe a better bed frame, or large heavy duty a platform style bed. Best yet maybe one of them huge dungeon style beds from the stockroom. Big Grin

So true! I know part of my problem is that my bed frame has wheels, so it moves easily (but not that easily). I mean, half the time it's out from the wall when I wake up in the morning--by myself Wink But yeah, The New Guy is a little rambunctious and I'm often having to push it back into place...

Maybe arwgts is right and I need a better frame...

I suggest duct tape, bondo, chicken wire, a welder and parachute cord. As for keeping the bed in place... I dunno.

I second ranger... if it cant be fixed with any of the aformentioned product (duct tape, bondo, chicken wire, a welder and parachute cord) then it just aint worth fixin in the first place. Big Grin

MacGyver could fix your bed with a paperclip and a ball of yarn

Fly I seem to remember a hotel bed that used to wander when we were being lively. At home our bed sits on a frame on the floor - if that starte moving I would get very worried!

Sounds to me like you need some non slip feet or mini mats under your bed legs. You know the stuff that you put under throw rugs on hardwood floors to keep them from sliding!

A area rug -- Go to a local carpet store and ask them to cut a small segment of carpet you like and bind it. That and the padding should keep it in place.

We have wheels on our bed frame too maybe THATS the problem. If thats the case it will be overcome soon enough. We already broke one leg off the bed frame...although that did involve cowboy leaping from the dorway onto the bed in an attepmt to wrestle me!

Our solution was to buy a big, very solid wooden bed. It does not, I repeat does not, move!!!! Big Grin
