So Playboy is coming to A&M to get a few ladies for their "Women of the Big XII" section, and I'm thinking about going to audition. What should I do? How should I prepare? I didn't really want to start a new thread, but this didn't seem to fit anywhere else. I don't want to get into the porn industry or anything, it just sounds like something fun that I may or may not actually do. I'd really like to hear about what it takes before deciding whether to go for it or not.

maybe you could send some pics and we can give some suggestions.

And 'do' 'prepare' that pix of you that was posted for a short while looked lovely - just be yourself. What does the bf think?

I think it woudl be fun to go and try. No clue how to prepare, maybe check out some of their old issues on college and see how those girls looked or dressed or posed? Good luck!! Let us know how it goes!!

Ahem, well, since we happen to KNOW some folks at Playboy, I threw the question by some people who are "in the know." Their response was that they don't want you to prepare at all - period. Just show up in grubby sweats and be prepared to strip off in front of two or three evaluation people and take a few polaroids. Warning - this can be an ego crusher for many women, as Playboy only takes about 1 in every 50-70 women who show up and even fewer than those actually get into the magazine. Many women are politely shown the door before they remove so much as their shoes. Also, it's not necessarily the most beautiful girls who make the cut; indeed, it's all about sexuality and photogenic qualities.

Back in our younger days, we'd have loved to get my wife into Playboy (what male doesn't fantasize about that?), but she felt she wasn't thin or pretty enough. Hence, if you decide not to try out (or you do but don't make it past the screeners), there's always you, your boyfriend, and your new camera to make your own layout.

Wow, how cool would that be just to get an audition would be a real buzz.

Nah, I chickened out at the last minute. I had filled out the paperwork, was in line, looked at all the slutty-but-gorgeous sorority girls there, and left. I'm glad I didn't do it this year, but maybe I'll try again someday...

A great way to get used to the concept is to make home pictures. We have over 3 photo albums of my wife and I in various states and poses. It is great fun making them and equally as good getting them out for a review every now & then. Plus, when they are for home viewing you can do anything you want from conservative to hard core porn.
