but I've read that cock rings are better placed behind the scrotum.
can this one be worn behind the scrotum?
is this a good cock ring to start with?
thanks

This one is pretty basic, but we'd recommend you pick up some of the mega stretchy silicone rings to start. And yes, the ring should be worn behind the balls and over the top of the shaft. Put it on while you're not erect, by the way.

thanks for the info
I know it's basic, but it's my first one
how are the super stretchy ones better then this one?
since I've already got this one I figure I'll start with it, since it's so basic shouldn't it be good for a beginner?
any tips on using this particular one/style?
btw I just tonight found your site and like it a lot, a lot of great info

I just ordered my first one too but haven't tried it yet. The one in the pic looks like something that cowboys wear around their necks!

I recently picked this one up
on the package it shows it infront of the scrotum
but I've read that cock rings are better placed behind the scrotum.

Ah yes, that would be an updated version of DR.KC. WU'S classic Oriental Power Shooter. Years ago I purchased one of the good Doctor's Power Shooters at Frenchy's porn shop in Chicago. I really felt like a pervert at the time. The Power Shooter was my first cock ring and it remained in my dresser drawer for years, since like you, I never understood the proper way to wear a cock ring, which is behind the balls. Try the silicone stretch rings next and later a metal ring.

Quote: never used a cock ring like the picture you show but bought my first cock ring 2 weeks ago and really like the feel and it's great. i bought a titan.60" , freddy sells them, and i wear it having sex as well as out on the town casually. i'm 54 years old never knew of or had such a thing and am just delighted in the way it feels when worn. also bought an imperial which fits nicer but it takes some getting used to because it's twice the weight (8oz) of the titan .60" .freddy recommended the titan as a first ring and it was a good choice. one word of thought though! they are relatively expensive about $50, so you really want to make sure you get the right size. i went to the hardware store and bought some plumbing o rings 3/16 " thick and in sizes 1 3/4, 1 7/8, and 2" just to see which one fit the best.also a good way to see if a rigid ring is for you. mine fits with just a bit of looseness when flacid and is snug when erect. it was a size 1 7/8 which pretty much is the size gear sells the most of. for me it's not the bind i get when erect but the feeling i get when i wear the ring all the time.freddy has the info on proper sizing and i found my size was just a little smaller than the measured size as directed on freddy's website. lol!
Very cool Ketch! Since I am 56 and it is nice to meet someone of my generation on the forum. I have been trying to convince a friend who is 62 and lives in LA to try a cockring. I suggested that he call Freddy & Eddy and make an appointment for a personalized fitting.

My husband and I have never used a cock ring before .We were wondering if someone could tell us how to use and what does it do.Does it stop a man from ejeculating.please help us.Thank you
OK quick basics in cock rings. The Gear Essential rings that F&E sell are pretty much the gold standard in my opinion, but they all work of the same basic principle.
You slide the ring over the top of the penis and snug it up behind the scrotum. As the guy gets an erection the blood causing the penis to swell is semi trapped in place causing a harder, longer lasting erection. As far as climax control goes, it does help to an extent with that in my case, but I don't know that it's one of the main selling points. Something else my wife loved about the ring is that it changed the spot I normally would hit her inside to a different spot. Basically it changed angle due to it pulling my boys out further and pulling down on my penis.
There's the short and looooong of it for you! LOL Definitely a fun toy. As far as sizing goes, the guy needs to be measured. Follow the instructions here and you'll be well on your way.
