Has anyone gone though a metal detector with one? a metal one i'm thinking. i think someone mentioned it but i cant find the post...

G always removes his and puts it in his carry on baggage - really not a good idea to get strip searched when they can't work out where the metal is In the UK at least they are very serious about the screenings and even after you've walked through the archway they pat you down. Shoes, belts, anything that 'might' have metal in it have to be removed and go through the scanner so G always removes.

Thanks, up here in Canada, we can walk though security with pot on us and no one says anything. (i wouldn't recommend it however)

I think reading about how to size something is always difficult. Being more of a visual person, would anyone who is familiar with wearing a cock ring be willing to post pictures of a "sizing" demonstration? That would clear up questions about where to measure, etc.

I'm totally not soliciting pictures, just for educational purposes I'd love to get a nice one for B when he comes home, but I want to make sure we do it right.

The numbers did not ever match up for me in calculating the diamiter. Through trial and error I have found what works for me. Now all I have to do is work it out for math by reverse engineering it. Post pics soon.

Here ya go gang. For all those who have questions about how to get the best fit for a CR. For best results, take the measurments after a warm shower or bath when the scrotum is fully relxed. If they are pulled up to the body, your circumference will be larger than desired and your CR will not fit and work properly.

The first thing you must understand is where a CR fits in relation to the body. It does not fit right up aganst the groin under the scrotum but in the fold where gravety kicks in:



I use a talor's tape to do the accurate measurment.

Place the tape and take up the weight of your scotum with the tape. This will pull the tape taunt with out to much tension

While keeping the tension, wrap the tape around the front and take your reading. In my case it comes out at 6.5 inches.




And when I was fresh out of the shower and fully relaxed...


Now for the calculations.

6.5 inches / Pi (3.1415)
= 2.016....

I round down and my CR size is 2 inches.

Thanks, NN! Just like putting together a book case, it's so much easier (for me, anyway) when I can see what I'm supposed to do. I never would have thought to actually "lift" the tape or anything. I think we'll try that on hubby when he gets home!

Hey, It's what I am here for...amongst other things.

I stumbled onto that little trick when I was trying to get the numbers to work.

When I first tried to measure for a ring, I got a very large number...like 3.2 inches. As the biggest ring is 2 1/8 inches, I went for the largest one avail. It worked well... or so I thought. The problem is with my first ring was slippage and the risk of a "ringer."

I stumbled onto my correct size when I down sized to a ring that was 1/8th smaller for every day use. When I first started dating SL, that every day ring was "pressed into service" and WOW what a difference 1/8th of an inch can make.
