One of my hobbies is art, including photography, and well i wanted to see if anyone here shared that interest. If so, post them! I will eventually too.

Ok so there doesnt seem to be a huge response to this.. i guess I will post my own "art" pics. They arent super, and look funny when photographed.. but whatever.





About the next two (below): I find these are my favorite... One is a depiction of myself... I drew it while looking in the mirror. With no posing, or anything, just me. Or at least me a few years ago. That drawing helped me love who I am and what I look like. I even pinned it up in my room (everyone knew it was a self portrait), and I felt better. The other one I like to think of as mother nature, trying to survive in our world of more then just one kind of polution...

awesome! I like it, you have the shape of the face down pat. I sometimes struggle with that and the nose. The kid is cute too, is she yours?

Yes, she's my oldest, now 13. This was about 7 years ago. Thanks, I have problems with noses, too, and proportions, and...well, everything, hehe. That's not a very good scan, it's actually much darker/better shaded than it shows, but since the actual drawing isn't around, I can't redo it. And I don't really want to mess around with it in photoshop.

yea, i hate how some things come up online also. The other day i learned a lot more about drawing... i never took any sort of lessons, never wanted to really, every once and awhile i just need to draw and i learn from it when i do... like i look at something at a different angle, or see others art work and mimick how they for example, draw a nose. And it can help since i might not be able to draw a nose very well when i look at say my bfs, but if i just look at one drawn, i can mimick it better. Again thanks, and I hope more people post their art. But i really like what you did demoana

Tks. I love to draw feelings and emotion. Even when I do stick drawings I like to make it expressive.

Has anyone checked out Exploding Dog? It has great simple art with kind of a dark/existential thing going on. Check it out and then I'll post a couple of my own that I attempted in that same form.

Wow, Rena, you're so talented, love how you have so many different styles. Can't even start to choose my favorite. Hmmm, the fish are neat, got a cool watery effect, but the flowers/butterfly looks just so pretty....but then they 'eye of god' one has such a contrast between the starkness of most of the drawing, and the beautiful shading of the eye....man, okay, not gonna talk about them all (too late? lol), just gonna sit back and enjoy
