I had always heard that if a person dies in their sleep they never wake up.

This is interesting to me because I've always had the theory that if you cum in your sleep, you really do. i.e. the Wet Dream. I love Wet Dreams, of course they are sooo few and far between in adulthood, I sure miss them. Nevertheless, you have a sexy dream and pop, when you wake up, sure enough you've messed your knickers.

My fear is when I dream of peeing in my sleep. This warning usually hits me and I bolt awake to 1) make sure I haven't and 2) preventatively make sure I don't by hitting the can before lulling back to sleep again.

Any thoughts on strange things done in your sleep?

I've heard masturbating is fairly common in one's sleep.

Welcome back hubby!

Hmm, some interesting points. I always thought that if you died, you were dead, no matter whether you were asleep or not Wink Oh wait, you meant if you die in your dreams! LOL

I know I tend to incorporate outside influences into my dreams such as the alarm when it's set to music, but for the most part, my dreams usually don't have "finishing" points that would dictate a real life reaction such as cumming, peeing, etc.

On that note, you know why cum is white and pee is yellow? It's so guys can figure out if their cumming or going Smiler

hahahah coming or going.. haha... nice.

I wet my bed when I was about 13 because I dreamed I was at a bathroom showroom thing and this one salesman lulled me to try and use the toilet.. man that sucked.. I felt so stupid. I dont go to bed anymore with anything in my blatter. :P

I think you would die.. mostly because you mind would go "oh I am dead" and stop trying. because you dreams CAN (ok so I believe it could happen.. not forsure will happen) trick your mind into thinking its real. How many of you have woken up thinking you had won money? and then went UGH!

Ive woken up with my blanket between my legs..(i.e. I was humping it.. my mind didnt think "fingers!" it just said.. rub! anyway you can rub!)

LOL! Damn, I meant dreaming of dying. Hahaha. Yeah, not too many wake up from death except maybe Jesus and George Romero's friends.

And I'm not insinuating that other things that you do in your dreams actually happen unconsciously (i.e. flying or befriending gnomes). I'm just saying that there are some strange things a person does in their sleep without realizing it.

I do a bit of talking when I'm in a barely awake state. Sometimes I remember the next morning and sometimes not. My guy says that sometimes I say things like "Right!" or "OK!" when he crawls in bed after I'm asleep. Must be spurred by him getting in bed (a water bed, so you can tell when someone gets in/out) but I never remember that in the morning. I very rarely remember my dreams, which is kind of a bummer.

However, I was having a rare remembered dream just this morning about losing my skis in a large house with a fish tank filled with swimming tuna. The alarm went off but I continued to dream...then I felt my nice, hard guy pressed up against my back and...well, that led to a lovely wake-up session. I tried to hold on to the dream and the asleep feeling as long as I could, and didn't open my eyes until the end. I just *love* waking up that way! My guy told me he had woken up at 3am with the "urge" but decided not to wake me up...I told him to go ahead and do it next time. I think it would be fun for him to start messing around with me and see how long it takes before I actually wake up!

Cheers!

I'd LOVE to be in a deep sleep and be woken by having an orgasm.

As to the dreaming - I have actually dreamt that I died... and I'm still here. I think it probably depends on the context of the dream. And also what exactly is involved in the dying, I think.

On the other hand, I have had leftover effects of dreams - I woke up once with my whole arm cold as ice (despite being in a warm environment) because a dead friend of mine had been holding it. So I don't know - I guess everything always needs context?

I had a dream that I was spitting out cherry pits and I woke up in a pool of saliva. Apparently I was indeed spitting...

I also had a dream once about a blow-up style doll that was VERY lifelike. I had had sex with the thing and had a great orgasm, one like I'd never had before. I woke up soon after and I was still quivering...it was weird and amazing!

I once rolled over and punched my ex-husband and gave him a black eye!
If our bedroom is cold I usually dream of snow and I have had quite a few wet dreams. When I was younger used to get sleep paralysis quite a bit and that is scary.
Cowboy and kiddo get chatty in their sleep and have an annoying habit of laughing in their sleep but ALWAYS on the same day within 10 minutes of each other!

Different subject, but prompted by these points. I have never had a "golden shower". Does anyone do that these days?

Hey, Larry, stay on topic here. Have you ever dreamed of having a golden shower? lol

And Tigz, was that your story to the ex? You were sleeping? I guess just punching him is much more convincing than going and filling a pillowcase full of oranges and then beating the shit out of him.

I'm a sleep laugher too. I'm often told that I heartily laugh in my sleep. My daughter does it too, there's nothing like a child's genuine laugh.

Hmmm...golden shower, eh?

I rarely remember anything about my dreams, and when I do they're either nightmares or sex dreams. I've been having a lot of sex dreams lately. I had a very realistic one a couple weeks ago, and woke up just after my orgasm. I think I actually had an orgasm just from the dream. I had those tingly post orgasm feelings when I woke up. I asked hubby if he had been touching me, but he hadn't and neither had I. Best I can figure, I came just from the mental stimulation. What a great dream ! Smiler
Hubby talks in his sleep often. He'll even answer questions, etc. Very entertaining. Razzer

He he!!! I was once awoken by J's hard member pressed hard up against my back, just as he had spunked all over my back in his sleep!

He does not remember anything about it and didn't believe me! He didn't even wake up properly!!!

I have lots of wierd dreams, mostly scaring and freaky. I often wish I couldn't remember them!

However, I used to often dream about eating chocolates...I would wake up just as I bit into them and I never therefore got to taste them! Frowner

I'm a very vivid dreamer and have been fortunate enough to wake up to some wonderful orgasms. I've also dreamt of dying and like Ang I'm here too. A lot of times I've dreamt that I'm falling from a building or cliff or something and will wake up right before I hit the ground and I swear it feels like I'm landing in my bed. That's kind of fun.

I've both died, fallen, had sex, and taken a piss in dreams. Only the sexual related dreams have ever had any effect upon waking up. I'm pretty sure I've never actually gotten off while asleep, but I can still remember the most vivid sensation EVER while asleep was getting my ass licked, something I have yet to experience. It was so intense I woke up within seconds of it starting.

I have been known on occassion to start rubbing my wifes legs with my own while sleeping. This is indeed a nice way for both of us to wake up.
