Okay with the Wine, Beer, and Guinness threads popping up made me want to combine them all. What's in your well stocked bar? Some of these I like, some Michael likes, some I like their advertising.Only one of each type allowed.

Red Wine - Shafer
White Wine - La Crema
Beer - Grolsch
Light Beer - Corona
Vodka - Grey Goose
Bourbon - Wild Turkey 101
Irish Whiskey - Bushmills
Blended Whiskey - Crown Royal
Scotch - Chivas
Tequila - Don Julio
Gin - ???

Favorite non-wine drink - Dirty Vodka Martini

Let's party!

Ok, Silk... your thread I like! Big Grin
For me, beer is yuck (gives me funny twitches) and I can't drink wine anymore (no carbonated or 'effervescent' stuff for me because of a med I'm on Frowner..makes it taste bleck!)

Soooo, it's all the good stuff for me now Wink
Tequila-Patron
Vodka-Johnny Love Aloha (Pineapple) (thanks to Alaska Airlines on my trip to Cancun)OR Grey Goose
Odd stuff-
1)Mixers-Blue Curacao
I love, love, love BLUE drinks. It's a fixation of mine. Don't know what it is. But I LOVE blue drinks. Razzer
2)And we keep a spare bottle or 2 of Everclear handy, since it's illegal/not sold in our state. (We do big, long distance/short time limit races with my horse friends. And when we're done at the end of the day... we like to sit around a drink beer and the such. A lady introduced us to a new one called 'Apple Pie'. It has apple cider & apple juice cooked with sugar & cinammon sticks and then Everclear is added. It's smooooooth stuff and it knocks you on your butt. We have no muscle aches and we all sleep well after that! Wink
So, yes. Everclear is now purchased everytime we go to Oregon.... Big Grin and is a staple in all our liquor cabinets.

Vodka...any kind will do me but I mostly drink Smirnoff
Cointreau
Baileys!
(add a little Cointreau to your baileys for a nice chocolate orange drink)
Tia Maria (for the baby guinesses...tia maria with a head of baileys)
Peach Schnapps
Bacardi
And no drinks cabinet is complete without some Irish Whiskey...Bushmills or Jameson

Big Grin I love this thread

Wait... I missed this. If Silk needs a spanking and Ranger thinks he's up to the challenge *snicker* then GO for it. I ain't payin' no travel costs though, and I expect pictures to be posted here on the board.

I have to append Peppermint Schnapps to Ranger's list, if only for my hot cocoa.

I have to ask you guys, you're the only ones I trust, we're kind of alcohol rookies trying to branch out a little,

Jill wants me to make her a good lemonade this weekend, any ideas? Also, we are looking into margaritas, but my experience with tequila is always negative. Is there a good substitute, or do I need to use better tequila?

By all means use better tequila. The more sugars and impurities = Hangover. Blanco is the purest and least aged. Huradura / Patron are very good.

For my favorite lemonade, take a shot or two depending on how strong you want it of Midori in a tumbler, add ice, add freshly made lemonade. For the lemonade itself since we don't have good access to fresh lemons, I'll use concentrated lemon juice (not frozen concentrate) and mix in the sugar.
