I know a few people have seen it. What are your thoughts? Did you read the book?
We went Saturday night, I thought it followed the book pretty close. I really had a problem w/ the actors selected for the major roles. They just didn't fit what my minds eye had invisioned. I did enjoy the movie, but....

I read the book, listened to it on books on CD, and then saw the movie. Love them all!
I thought Tom Hanks fit the role perfectly (he does that everyman thing to a T) and the girl was what I imagined in the book - a young, pretty, sorta lame "damsel in mental distress" French gal. And who doesn't love Jean Reno? Come on! The Ian McKlellan casting was slightly off-kilter, but he's so good - period - that he makes it work.
I'm not the most religious guy on earth (ok, bonafied ATHIEST is a mild description), but I loved all that history on the Catholic Church.

I haven't read the book (I have issues with reading books that "sweep the nation". Weird, I know...) but am really interested in seeing the movie. And I'm sure I will read the book after I watch it, and finish the 3 other books I'm reading right now. New guy wants to see it, so I'm sure we will see it soon.

I saw the movie and enjoyed it. However I could tell they left a lot of the detail from the book out just by how the quickly the glossed over some of the character's back stories. None the less I would recommend this movie to anyone. In fact I enjoyed it so much I decided to go back and read the book. In keeping with my anal retentive side though I must read book in there proper order I just finished reading “Angels and Demons”. This is the first book “Robert Langdon” appears in. It’s main premise is “Science vs. Faith”. More specifically “The Illuminati vs. The Catholic Church”. It was a engrossing read.
I saw it last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was well done. Of course it can't go into as much detail as the book, but I thought it kept to the feel of the book. I left thinking, "Jeez I really wish this was true."
Funny, I pictured someone OLDER! I mean, how could someone young possibly know all that friggin' symbology stuff?

I never read the book, but I saw the movie with my girlfriend (who read the book twice).
I LOVED the movie man. It was awesome. Except for the part when they showed the car accident. Honestly, it scared the crap out of me and I jumped and screamed into my girlfriends boobies. **
**Ok yeah...it was as planned as the whole break and grope method but whatever man. Shes my girlfriend. I'll grab her titty if I want!
**Please do not take what I say seriously. I am joking about 98.6 percent of the time. Except for right now. I'm serious. Jk. No Jk on the Jk part. Ok no seriously. Ok I'll just shut up now**
Actually, it's OK to be more than 1 1/4 percent serious sometimes. And that whole show pretty much sucked, didn't it?
