We saw "Blades of Glory" on opening weekend. It was extremely funny, and B laughed so hard he cried Smiler We're definitely buying that one when it comes out!

I guess it depends on the kind of comedy she likes, but I always get a few good belly laughs out of "Dumb and Dumber." And I love "Super Troopers" lately. Oh, and "Oh Brother Where Art Thow" is really funny too!

Nacho Libre with Jack Black. Napoleon Dynamite. Maybe you've seen these already, they are both Nickelodeon productions - if not check them out. They're kinda silly, but not cheap vulgar comedy, while being kinda "feel good" movies at the same time.

Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Is a definite must if you haven't seen it.

Believe me please...I am no racist! "Undercover Brother" is a very funny movie about black heroes fighting the "MAN" (as in the white man). Produced ala the old "black films" like those starring Jim Brown and Fred Williamson....

OH MAN!! AM I GIVING MY AGE OR WHAT!

Good Luck - Keep Smiling

I saw Hot Fuzz last week. As a big "Shaun of the Dead" fan, I totally loved it. We just went back to SotD and caught scenes or lines that were referenced in HF.

You've got to love British humor and movie-making, however. Also, there was some, uh, "creative" gore that was great, but surprising in a comedy. Some of the best I'd seen in awhile.

I saw it sat night...thought it was a good movie for what it was though since i'm not a hardcore spidey fan like some around here I'm not sure if it would have lived up to your expectations. For some light entertainment...nothing too complicated it's definitely a good movie

We saw it opening night. Both B and I thought it was a good movie, on par with the second one. A good, fluffy movie to start a summer PACKED with ones we want to see Smiler

We went and saw Pirates yesterday and we're happy to report you should ignore the negative reviews - it's a rousing good time! Tons of action, great sets and costumes, and even some weirdness thrown in that would make Hunter S. Thompson proud. Highly recommended.

We saw it too, and liked it as well Smiler It was a little long (close to 3 hours) so just don't drink anything before or get a soda, and you should be fine. I agree with Freddy, definitely recommended.

p.s. It assumes you have seen the other two movies and know the characters, as it dives right into the plot. So if you haven't seen them and want to see this one, rent or borrow them or you might be really lost Smiler

Funny you should talk about its length - Kealii had to go pee at THE critical moment in the movie toward the end! You're also right on the money about seeing the other two; if you don't you'll be completely lost (not that you won't be either way).

Yeah, I forgot to go pee before the movie started, and thankfully remembered it was long when we were only about 15 minutes into it and took a quick break then, so I didn't miss anything. Razzer
