A couple weeks ago we watched an indie horror movie called, "The Descent." it was so perfectly scary that I'm still thinking about it. I was wondering if anyone else here has seen it and what you thought.
Or have you seen any other flicks worth talking about lately? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ms. Pear, |

We were going to go to the movies last night, but the flick we wanted to see was only playing way up in Hollywood, so we're going to wait for it to go into wide release. It's called "Thank You for Smoking" and it's gotten rave reviews. The flick is about a tobacco industry lobbyist who's downright unapologetic. Looks great.

I saw a trailer for that one, Freddy. I totally want to see it!!
I haven't really been to the movies in ages. Oh, wait, that's not true...I saw Brokeback Mountain about a week ago. I loved it!! Like most Ang Lee films, it was gorgeous. I love his languid style... Although the subject matter (doomed relationships and whatnot) put me in a weird place and I went a little crazy on my ex... I should never be allowed to see movies like this... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blessed are the geeks, for we shall inherit the earth... |
