Fett is da man! And for the record... I've already been pondering taking the hilt grom one of the toy lightsabers and attaching a dildo or something like that to it. Talk about feeling the power of the Force.

Man! That was awesome!! You know, it REALLY used to bother me that every place you go there's a "501st", be in US, UK, Australia, or wherever. I mean, shouldn't they have different numbers?! But then today I thought, what if it's a *global* thing, so, like, Earth is 501st...

*hangs head* yep, I'm a nerd...

sidenote, and I might have mentioned this here before: I have a thing for Stormtroopers--so much so that a guy I dated started the process of joining the local 501st--he wanted to bring the helmet into the bedroom *blush* I told him he was a little tall for a Stormtrooper

I actually have a friend who was in the parade as one of the Imperial Guards. It made me so giddy to see the Star Wars fans out in full force!

Sounds like your man needs to be Vader, Moonkiss!! Jade and I have a friend who is the ultimate Darth Vader fangirl. If she could find her a good-looking Dark Lord of the Sith, I have a feeling she'd make him wear the costume (sans the codpiece, of course) to bed.

Lady Luna: Did it tick you off, too, when they went to commercial during the Star Wars "Spectacular"? I don't know if they did it in the original airing, but the repeat on The Travel Channel had them going to commercial right after the flag-bearing 501st members showed up.

Martini Man,
Fortunately HGTV aired the parade with no commercial interruptions, so I had no idea that that happened. But it does make me mad that anyone would go to commercial during the greatest moment in Tournament of Roses history!

moonkiss: You’re right about it being global. The “501st Legion” is the name of the worldwide costuming organization and each garrison/outpost has an individual name.

That’s funny about the guy you were dating. What IS it about those guys wanting to have sex wearing the armor?? LOL!

Tyrion: I’d never seen that before – it’s hilarious!

Heh. I asked Ang if I we could have sex with me wearing LBE, Kellar helmet and jump boots while I was still in the military, so it's not just those guys.

I can tell you for a fact that it wasn't me and Jade. I can assure you that her reaction wouldn't be screaming.

Well, at least from fear.

Oh, and as a side note: Never use a Master Replica FX Lightsaber as a sex toy. Those ends aren't sealed and they draw fluid into the blade.

Don't ask.

Attention all Star Wars fanatics (me being first and foremost among you)! Robot Chicken is doing a parody Sunday night at 10pm on Cartoon Network that looks to be hysterical. Check out the preview clip here:

If that clip didn't have you falling off your chair, I don't know what could!
