Ok... I heard rumor, speculation and propoganda about a Guinness Red having been market tested ion the UK back in February of 2007. Please some of our loyal readers across the pond tell me this is true and where the hell I can get some!!!

Well I haven't seen it around yet but I'll keep ya posted! It's up on the Guiness website alright and seems to be available in several pubs around the UK. These Guiness spin offs don't tend to be very popular in Ireland and sometimes don't even show up over here...we are purists when it comes to our drink after all!

As an aside, although the Guiness website claims a regular Guiness to be black and white it is actually ruby red so I guess Red Guiness isn't too far removed from the real stuff.

See.. I knew about the whole Guinness being ruby red. I just wanna give it a try as a fan of all things Guinness. I mean... I just may end up considering it my new light beer.
