Hey Jazz, these look great. Just ordered one. Got the alarm with the "sound of one hand clapping" option. (KIDDING.) I'll let you know how it works out.

Cool FlyGuy. I will have to become a Zen Alarm Clock salesman. Freddy and Eddy should become a Zen Alarm Clock affiliate.

Have you tried Nippon Kodo incense? This is really high quality Japanese incense? Check it out, I have a feeling that you would enjoy it. nipponkodo.com

Hey Jazz. OK cool. Thanks for the suggestion. I bought three types of incense and a nice purple mesh burning vessel. Please don't suggest a car now or I'm in trouble.

We need one of these! Prez wakes up an hour and half before I do and his alarm is set to his CD which is some loud rock type music. Can't remember what he has in there now. But it is so starteling for me and I can't always get back to sleep.

We have two Siamese cats who wake us up each morning by yelling for their breakfast - we would not be without them so having done our 'morning prayers' we get up and feed them Smiler

I have wanted to buy one of these since I first saw them at least 6 years ago. I still haven't done it because of cost. I have a problem spending over 100 dollars for an alarm clock. I would love to see some reviews Smiler

Got mine the other day. Nice looking. Takes 4 C cells. Alarm won't ring. Haven't had time to debug. Will report back.

The incense rock though! Thanks Jazz!

Great FlyGuy. I am glad that you are enjoying the incense.

Here is a site that I just found. They are roughly 10-15% cheaper than list price. The owner, Dave, is a very nice guy, very helpful as well as knowledgeable.

ecclecstacy.com

I love good incense, very relaxing.

I am looking forward to reading of your experience with the Zen Alarm Clock. I hope that you are satisfied with the clock. Do you feel that it is a good value for the money?

Cheers!

Jazz

My Zen Clock. By FlyGuy.

Alarm won't ring.

(Was it my joke about the sound of "one hand clapping"?)

Paper in the box: "Alarm won't chime? Installed batteries? Then call Customer Service."

It disturbs my wa to call Customer Service.

Returning hopeful objects is negative feng shui.

I re-install 4 "C" batteries. I leave alarm on. Clock remains impassive, silent.

Each morning I meditate on my clock's non-ringing nature.

Ten days. No ringing.

Today. Ringing.

Zen clock. Shall I trust you for an important business trip?

Zen clock. If you do not to ring, is my trip not meant to be?

Zen clock. Perhaps my lack of trust is for myself.

Many lessons reside in your non-functioning nature.
