What more can I say aside from great movie. It details events before during and after the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima. Not normally a fan of movies about Marines, but this one is now in my top 10 folks. My new mission is to read the book by James Bradley. The movie had combat scenes that rivaled Saving Private Ryan as far as realism. Directed by Clint Eastwood and Produced by Clint and Steven Spielberg, the acting was good, the battle scenes... wow... I felt like I was there. Go see it if you're a fan of war movies.
