My husband and I were on the phone talking last night and the topic of sexy movie scenes and performers came up Anyway I was wondering do any of you have any scenes or performers from mainstream film that have stayed with you as particularly sexy?

I have many but to start with as another woman I have always found Ellen Barkin sexy. She is not what I would call a classic beauty at all but I think she is sexy as all get out. She has a bi-sexual vibe that just oozes from her I think. There was a scene in "The Big Easy" with Dennis Quaid where all you really see are his hands under her dress then her facial expressions as he touches her. HOT And there is another movie, which name escapes me, where she is nearly seduced by Petra Wilson. OUCH

Also William Hurt and Kathleen Turner in Body Heat.

Susan Sarandon does it for me. I still think of her in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Johnny Depp in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Juliette Lewis too, for that matter. And if anyone wanted to set me up with Viggo Mortensen for an evening I certainly wouldn't refuse. Some of the love scenes in LOTRs were pretty sweet -- too bad about Liv Tyler at the other end.

The romance scenes with him and Liv Tyler in TLOTR were so mushy luv-luv, but they are just two beautiful people. And that film introduced the sexy Orlando Bloom. Although he had pointy ears, he was damn sexy. Johnny Depp has always done it for me from way back when. He picks characters that are usually loners, quiet but seductive. And last but not least is Matthew McConaughey in Time to Kill. There is the sexy little verbal dance scene with him and Sandra Bullock.

One film jumps out when you talk about sexy non porn films. It is Wild Orchid, which came out in 1990 with Mickey Rourke and Carre Otis. I remember it as not being a top knotch film, but I do remember that I was glued to the sex scenes.

Some of my favorite guys would include Denziel Washington, Mel Gibson, Jude Law, and of course Viggo.

Wild Orchid is one of those movies that is always mentioned when the discussion is about did they or didn't they really do it on screen?

My hubby is a little older than me and he tells me that there was a scene at the end of Groove Tube where a couple goes at it on the couch in front of the TV and the joke is the newscasters can see what is going on. He says he was a teenager when he saw it and it was right at the end of the movie and he had to get up and walk out with an obvious tent in his pants
