Just wait until RockBand comes out

Have friends who work for EA who say it's pretty amazing, but also expensive and awkward to play, especially the singing part. Arguments will certainly ensue as to who gets to play what.

16 year old son purchased this yesterday RRP $149.95 they let him have it for $134.95 competition with another store price,he played it all afternoon said it's so cool even let his brother join him with the normal contoller.

Oh... and for the general masses... Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.... effing rocks... it's great on XBox Live too... gave me an erection.. seriously..

Not only did we purchase Guitar Hero 3 and 2 for the xbox 360, but we also got RockBand.

Me being the musically inept of the pair have decided I'll be the roadie.

We are avid players of all the music games, usually a couple hours a night. We got RockBand 2 and we are having a blast! The best thing is the ability to switch and swap instruments and characters on the fly so we swap singing, strumming, and drumming depending on our mood.

*Also the new Metallica album is awsome on GH3 (but I was a little surprised it was so easy).

I think Rock Band might be under the X-mas tree this year!

If you do make it RockBand 2. For 5 bucks you can export/import all of the songs off the RB1 disk into the RB2 game (so rent the 1st game and copy the songs, grand total of about $12 for a huge number of playable songs). And RB2 has several improvements over the first one.
