I was wondering what type of music or a specific song gets everyone in the "mood".

Hmmm, I'm a bit partial to some nice blues or probably my all time favorite compilation would be the Sliver CD, but I'm guessing you knew that

A specific song would be "This City Never Sleeps" by the Eurythmics. But I will usually listen to my Body and Soul CD, it's really good for setting that romantic tone. I can just imagine the candles and slow dancing with my hubby. Sigh....thanks Topless, food for thought! How about you? Any favorites?

Ambient and acid jazz. "Rise" and "Fire in the Middle," by Nightmares on Wax are two of the sexiest songs ever.

Interesting Freddy...we haven't heard of those. Might be worth checking out though. I would have to agree on the Sliver soundtrack. I definately think the sexiness of the movie helped with the mood of the music though. I also like the song "She's got skills" which is an older one and I kind of like "Candy shop" by 50 Cent. It has to be the sexiest, most catchy song I have heard in a while. I can imagine little kids singing the lyrics and not understanding the meaning behind them (which is kind of scary), but also could be a good stripping or lap dance song.

Dug out the Nightmares On Wax, haven't listened to those for a while, 'Fire N The Middle' has a nice screwing groove and 'Rise' has that sultry female moan. We might try screwing to these again, as we haven't for a long time.

On that ambient tip drifty female vocals and chilled beats, try Susumu Yokota's 'Sakura' album, some drifty tunes with chilled beats and some drifty female vocals to boot. 'Azukiiro No Kaori' and 'Kodomotachi' are really nice tracks.

Something more soulfull and slightly funky Minnie Riperton, just about everything but 'Inside My Love' definately does it.

Hmm, just gave those a preview on Amazon. Interesting, but not necessarily what would put me in the mood. I'm usually up for a pretty heavy beat or something very souful. Another one that came to mind was Michael Buble's rendition of "Fever" that one definitely got me strumming the first time I played it for Topless.

Go on give Minnie ago, 'Les Fleurs ~ The Minnie Riperton Anthology' is great, although we could easily do without 'Light My Fire' at the end.

We have had a quick preview of Michael Buble and he is really not doing it for us. But hey, wouldn't life be boring(although alot easier) if we all liked the same thing. Just for a kick off, J wouldn't have hardly anything to moan about, so he would just be bored!!!LOL

OH MY!!!!!!! If you want to get really turned on fast. GO to the review of the movie, just a little naughty and click on where it says download free movie trailer. They should have a warning attached to it. LOL He was pounding her so fast and hard. OH MY!!!!! It really got me going. LOL Is the movie like that too. They should have a warning on it. I wish the free tailer was 5 minutes and not one minute though. I'm going to go watch the rest of it now. I only saw half of it before it had an error message. I wonder what happens in the second part of the trailer. WHEW!! It's hot in here LOL

My job often gets me close to stars like 50 Cent. While I didn't meet him, we have an interview during which he talks about "Candy Shop". His goal was to make a really sexy song that wasn't filled with obscenities. I gotta agree with Topless, pretty damn sexy.

My wife also got me into Sarah McLachlan. Yeah, I had to go to Lilith Fair, but the music really does something for us. "Ice Cream" was our first wedding dance, though no one knew it was our primary sex song...

Now that I'm back from Burning Man, my mind is buzzing with all the electronic music I grooved to in various spots throughout the playa and outlying camps.

Probably the coolest shit I've heard in a long time was a set by a DJ named Lorin Ashton, aka Bassnectar, who kicked the shit out of a crowd (including me) with a wicked set of amazing break beats. Another DJ worth mentioning was Freq Nasty, who also kicked ass. You can find both on iTunes.

Vas. They're amazing, not at all that awful castrated new age music. All their music is acoustic, and they've got great rhythms to groove to. In the Garden of Souls is great.... Amazon has samples:

Peter Gabriel's "Passion", though it does have electronics, is equally cool. Those two on repeat can provide a more than adequate backdrop for hours and hours of fun.
