Oddly enough, the same Tim LaHaye mentioned in the article Freddy posted in the current events thread today is also the author of "The Act of Marriage," an instructional book for virgin couples to use on their wedding night. Published in 1976 (the year my parents got married), it's unintentionally hilarious and an entertaining read. LaHaye, as usual, is way off in his predictions; for example, he says that the 1976 "oral sex craze" is just a passing fad, and that most couples don't do it. LaHaye also says that "many couples don't know that a high-grade latex rubber condom can be reused," and goes on to describe step-by-step how to prepare one for reuse. Ick! All in all though, fantastic vintage how-to read!

Which makes me wonder if anyone else has read any outdated sexual advice or information that they found entertaining or interesting that they'd like to share.
