I went to see Batman Begins w/ my kids (20 and 6) on Father's Day. My son(20) and I thought it was AWESOME!!!! My daughter was a little scared, but only during explosions not the gross stuff.
I highly recommend seeing it.I'll probably go again.

It rocked! By far the best since the original. I hope more are made.
I have Caddyshack on. I have seen it over fifty times. It rocks.
"Spaulding, I'll give you asthma"!
Watched The Jacket last night. Definately very organic and interesting. Worth watching it if you like something outside of the usual Hollywood regurgitated crap.
Adrien Brody, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kris Kristofferson, Kelly Lynch, and Kiera Knightly who was excellent.

Finally saw the current Bruce Willis flick, Hostage... was pretty good. Waiting for Sin City to hit the DVD rack, I've watched Boondock Saints about eight times since I got here. Love that flick.
I'll have to give you my review of Batman after the weekend. We are thinking of taking our godson to it because he LOVES superheros and it is so cute to see him dressed up in his batman cape, gloves, and mask and pretend he is Batman.
Bonk was over for dinner last night and we definitely agreed to have a "Flint" night at the Freddy and Eddy space, as in "Our Man Flint" and "In Like Flint," starring James Coburn as the original "international man of mystery." If you haven't seen these two movies, do yourselves a HUGE favor and pick them up or rent them; they are simply the best superspy comedies ever made (and very subversive in their humor). And Lee J. Cobb as Flint's sidekick - Cramden - is friggin' hilarious. The theme music rocks the house!
Batman begins was much better than Tim Burton's version of Batman. It was much closer to the comic book. I found it highly entertaining and we enjoyed it throughly. I may even go again.

Ok, caught the movie last weekend. It was overall a cool movie, but a little slow in the beginning. My god son loved it though, he even wore his batman t-shirt.
Big thing to remember about comic books turned movies... some of them are trying to slap 10 to 30 years of story line in a 2 hour movie. Most of the directors they round up... at least for Marvel Comics movies have to have some sort of passion about comic books. Stan Lee has that in the contracts. There have been tons of flops... the first Punisher movie, the Captain America movie, those types. I did find the beginning a bit slow, but then I remember the whole storyline thing. All in all, A great flick
Very stylish, black and white with subtle use of color here and there. Started off sort of cliched, corny lines and such, but then it draws you in, and blows you away.Excellen cast, excellent effects. Like watching a comic book come to life, and some well known actors in roles you never thought you'd see. I recommend it. Some graphic violence and gore, but it's done in such a way that you don't really get grossed out(like I usually would). I recommend it!

Yeah I really loved Sin City, well drawn out, parden the pun. I just saw Batman, that was great too. I just rented The Machinist which was dark and gruesome, not for the lighthearted lovers, but amazing to see the physical transformation Christian Bale made for that character. That alone is worth getting it to see what he did to his body for that role. It also stars the queen of edgy performances, Jennifer Jason Leigh, who is amazing in her own right. You are in constant shock when you see Batman right after it, when he is all buff. Amazing physical transformation. I really have to propel you all to see The Jacket. Another film starring Jennfier Jason Leigh and Adrien Brody which was an awesome pairing. Interesting story too.
