Ok, am I the only one that owns and has read these books? Love em, written by Max Brooks. The son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft.
World War Z is written as if interviews with various survivors of the zombie war. And the Zombie Survival Guide is written as if an actual resource book.
I strongly suggest checking them out, both are New York Times Bestsellers.
I own them as well, but I've never read them. I was going to, but my ex read them and adored them. That was enough reason for me never to crack the spine. lol
I'm tellin ya all... when the zombies rise up and attack... you'll all thank me for pointing you towards these books. A wealth of knowledge awaits. I've been trying to find a way to zombie proof a house for years... and now... I know.

Just a quick reminder to not use the "quote" button indiscriminately when replying to a topic. It keeps things clean and less cluttered for everyone to read. Thanks!!!

Ranger, as much as I love zombie books and movies, any enemy that can be killed with a cinderblock attached to a rope dropped repeatedly from the roof just doesn't scare me.
Ever notice that it isn't the zombies you have to worry about its the other guy in the bunker who gets you killed?

Excellent! And remember.. sure they're easy to kill... but they swarm... hundreds upon hundreds of the lifeless monsters can over take... sorry... just my paranoid ramblings again. But those of you who don't fall to the undead horde will thank me... and those of you that do... well... sucks to be you ya future flesh eating abomination.
I listened to World War Z on CD and it was great - they got a ton a people to read all of the parts and it is probably better in audio format than book (which rarely happens)
I am kind of in between jobs in the army right now, waiting for a class to start, they have been keeping us busy picking up trash and stuff.
Yesterday morning they asked me what I planned on doing to stay busy, I told them I was going to set some zombie traps. They let me go and didn't ask me what I was doing.
