I was just... blessed with the opportunity to play a beta/playtester version of the hotness that is Halo 3. And just what do I have to say about it?

OMFG!!! Do whatever you need to do in order to own this game. Seriously, sell you car, your house, your soul or even your children!!! I just had one of the biggest nerdgasms ever while playing multi-player. There were tears. Fuck the storyline... multi-player makes it worth the buy. Hell in that case... buy a HD TV and sit back and enjoy the Master Chief in all his Spartan glory!!!

i recently saw that sony will be releasing an advance demo of gran turismo 5. the demo will cost 42.00 retail or 38.00 downloaded.

I enjoy halo in a huge way, but not in possession of X box sadly. instead played quake CTF for a number of years.

ill stick with my lowly ps2 for a while methinks.

i never got into the halo mystique (Splinter Cell for me) but after reading your post, i went to the halo 3 website and WOW... i don't have the 360 but i'm going to buy the first two halo's... after finishing those i might just have to get the 360...

Unfortunately, Sony has priced themselves out of my league. Spending $600+ for a system is well beyond my scope of sensibility, especially when you consider that the only PS-specific game I play is Gran Turismo. Everything else is available multi-system.

And, somehow, I don't think Sony will be releasing GT5 for PS2.

I've been seriously looking at a 360, since- in addition to HALO, it has on its list of X-BOX specific games one Dead Rising, which is likely the most addictive game I've had the pleasure of playing inside a video game store.

PS3 is in effect the anti-XBox, it is evil... I'm talking an evil from the old times, biblical proportions and shite. It's like the Fundamentalist Islamics of the gaming world... Thus it opposes all we stand for... HOLY VATICAN BATMAN!!!! PS3 is the Anti-Christ!!!!

Thus your only salvation from an eternity of suffering is the X-Box 360.

Son(18) has halo 1& 2 on xbox, guess I'll finally give in and go for the 360 with Halo 3.....he'll be ecstatic!He's been driving me crazy all week.Not sure if I should go for the Halo 3 edition and upgrade later or go for the xbox 360 elite. The colors are pretty cool on the Halo 3 edition, think I'll go with that, he's obsessed with halo anyway.He has every system ever made, with the exceptions of Nintendo Wii( not interested) and Playstation 3(maybe later).Let the games begin!!!!!!Gaming marathon!!!!!
