I thought all of you Gear Ring lovers would like to see what I've come up with for my own personal use. Here's a sample of the first two rings I've done. I've got a 3rd in the work, but I'm awaiting a new color.

Enjoy!

I'm kinda liking the blue. Well ok, the blue kicks ass. Although for Ang... I'd probably have to go with a green.

I've got solid red or I can get mirror red too. If anyone is really interested in having me do one, hit me with a PM.

I don't think batch quantities would be a problem. Most of the time is in setup whether you're doing 1 or 20. I've also got an anodized red that is similar to the sheen on the blue one from above.
Not exactly a ring, but you can an idea of the coloring.

Ok Buck,
How do I go about having you do this? Do I need to buy a new ring or do you using one of my existing rings?
Most importantly what is the cost to do this?

Why do you not create your own line of colored rings? Manufacture the rings yourself and then promote and market them? Are there any issues with safety of powdercoating with skin and pores? Just playign devils advocate. It would be good to know this before venturing forward any further.

So far as I am aware there are no issues at it is a powdered plastic coating that is melted to form what you see. I'll have to do some checking on it though. I think I'd be at further risk from inhalation of the powder form than from anyone having contact with their skin, but it's a good question to ask.

I'm not sure on the actual manufacturing as that's a big leap, but who knows, I guess the sky is the limit.

Depending on my satisfaction with my first F&E order (is there any doubt?), I'd be interested, too.

Details??
