I got a CD full of them off of Ebay, in the mature audiences section...

Well the Sybian is about as far as I would ever go viewing wise. I stopped by that sight once, those things looked like they could permanently hurt a gal.

As far as your observastion about a ghetto Sybian, I agree! LOL.

Ebay has an adults only section?

Maybe I'm over-simplifying things but would one of these not be fairly easy to make yourself? It seems like a fairly basic construction....surely one of you handy (ahem!) guys would be able to stick one of these together!

Thats what the GF told me.. hmm might have to buy a huge cube of foam and see what i can do.. would be cool so find a material like the inner and out covers of the liberator shapes for it.. or maybe just modify a liberator cube or ramp to house an hitachi.. hmmmm

Would putting a dimmer switch on the wand allow you to control the revs? I looked into it and was assured that it wouldn't - if it does though, it would make it a really really awesome toy.

I just figured if you lowered the amount of current going into the unit it would decrease the speed

yeah, I don't think so - it's got to do with the hertz of the current or something, rather than the amount of current. Anyway, please please prove me wrong - it would be great if it did work with a simple dimmer!
