Hi

On the whole ... how long do sex toys
last before you have to replace them?

We have some high end stuff (Eroscillator).
And stuff that will not wear out (Njoy wand
and plugs). Not concerned about them much.

But what about run of the mill stuff?
What about Smart Balls?
Liberator shapes? (We get ours next week!)
Fascinator throes? (Thinking about getting one)
Rabbits?

So what is your expierence here?

Thanks in advance.

Sex toys vary wildly in their construction quality with the vast majority falling under the title of disposable junk. Your list pretty much covers the high end/long lasting line of things with the exception of the rabbit. Rabbits are pretty cheaply made for the most part. Freddy probably has the best insight on the most durable version.

We love the Fascinator and it's pretty durable. I know Freddy has taken one of theirs through hell and back by using it at Burning Man.

We have a fascinator, and Buck is right, they are pretty durable! They're also made by Liberator.

Anything made of silicone should last a long time, provided you don't use a silcone based lube on it. That's a sure-fire way to ruin a silicone toy! And, obviously, anything metal probably has a long life expectancy.

glass also works forever as long as you dont drop it or chip it. also holds temp. so you can pre warm it. its also easily made clean and sterile.

considering they still dredge up 2000 year old glas items. id say its pretty durable Smiler

we love our fascinator. wouldnt leave home without it. the black ones seem to be much softer than the animal prints.

just my 2bits, hope you find many great toys.
Nigel.

Eroscillator - built like a German tank, will last forever.
Smartballs are hard plastic and will last eons. The only issue is the removal string and you can keep that going through cleaning with mild soap and water.
Liberator Shapes will last for years.
Fascinator Throes will last for years and are built for abuse.
Rabbits can go about a year with regular usage, longer if you take good care of them.

I will add my 2 cents on all of the above;

Smartballs are coated entirely of medical silicone, including the string.

When a silicone product is called "Premium or Platinum" that means it is Medical Grade and nothing and I mean nothing will ever destroy it, even silicone lubricant. It is a non-porous ingredient that will last a lifetime.

Like Freddy says, please buy something in our online store No, really, I'm not kidding, either!

We have defenitelty burned through our share of run of the mill toys. We've had some that didn't even last two sessions. One thing that bothers me is latex (I believe) dildos. sometimes the wrong dildo mixed with the wrong lube will melt them. Not sure which ones and which lube it was though. Hasn't happened lately.
