I was just reading about this in mens health and I have heard talk of it on the radio as well. It seems that women can have spontaneous orgasm's while doing a lower ab workout on leg lift machine (you know the one... you hold your body up off the ground and raise your knees to your chest). Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Or is it just folklore? It sound's very cool, I'm just curious how common it is?

Here's an article about it from MSNBC.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21577552/

One quote from it: "He theorizes that the abdominal movement you're doing may stimulate your diaphragm, which may then stimulate the vagus nerve (which runs through the pelvis), triggering the orgasms."

Sounds plausible to me! I wish my workouts were that enjoyable Wink

I know that when I go to the gym with the girl she has said to me several times she can't do that particular lift. It feels too good. Sometimes I persuade her to do it anyway, just to see her reaction. Just five of them is enough to make her squirm.

I love the question at the end of that MSNBC article about feeling shaky after a workout:

Did they ever stop to think that the guy has worked himself to exhaustion? Hell, I've had leg days where I had to be helped out of the gym, I was so tired.

"Shaky" starts about the 90 minute mark, after warm-ups, stretches, leg presses and squats. "Jello-legged" followed shortly thereafter, normally on my last set of calf raises. And I'm quite certain I stopped just short of "puking on the leg press" by the time leg day was done.

Shaky is the feeling you get when you work your muscles to failure, or when run out of carbs, and your body begins to eat itself because it has no more sugars to process. Very seldom does it have anything to do with a "sports supplement", unless that supplement is caffeine pills or a Redbull.
