I stared at the computer screen in disbelief and reread the entire invitation twice before it sank in. Were we really going to do this? I felt a shiver of desire run through my body. Our get togethers were always such a fun, sexy time. And with the growth of our neighborhood over the last few months there was sure to be plenty of surprises and new friends to meet. Hopefully I would also see some olds friends as another shiver went through me.

The party was being held at a great old Southern Resort that I had been to many times. Beach, Spa, great home cooking, dance club, and more was located right on site.

I hit the send button to RSVP and immediately began to think about my costume...

A Halloween party, with the folks I've met at F&E? You bet! I took a quick glance at the calendar to make sure the date was open, then immediately made a reservation.

I wondered what to use for a costume. I could go Animal House and do the toga thing, but that was way too cheesy. I opened up my closet and started to look around. I got down a box I'd almost forgotten about and inside, found the great kilt that a previous lover had bought me at a Renaissance Faire. I'd worn it exactly twice, and I *thought* I remembered how to put it on. I already had it on hand, which, to me, was a big plus. With my long hair, I looked just like a character out of "Braveheart" in the thing, plus, wearing it in the traditional fashion meant I'd be ready for *anything* that might come up...

The "you've got mail" icon on my desktop blinked on. I opened the message from Silk.

"Did you see this? It's an invitation to the F&E Halloween party. I've already sent my RSVP."

It sounded great! I RSVP'd immediately and emailed Silk back.

"What are you going to wear? Let's do something really outrageous and sexy. I will if you will ."

I immediately googled "costumes" and started shopping.

I stared at the screen. Oh, cool, this was going to be a blast! Except...hmmm, costume? It'd been years since I dressed up for Halloween.

But I had an idea or two...


As soon as I RSVP'd, I started doodling, giving myself a few choices. Not what I would normally wear to a party, but just perfect for my friends at f&e.

So we finally decided to throw a party, and wouldn't you know it would fall on Halloween.

Eddy was nervous, "What do you think they'll expect?"

I tried to calm her jitters and assure her that things would unfold just fine. After all, it's not often that Eddy agrees to be the tray upon which dinner will be served at Wabi Sabi, our favorite sushi haunt. I got hot just thinking about her being rolled out, covered in sushi, as our guests consumed each piece, slowly revealing her naked body underneath. No one had actually ever met her, so it was doubtful they'd even know it was her. Only days to go and the invitations were confirming like crazy...

My favorite holiday! It just seemed so right to throw a F&E party! The invites went out so let's see who would show. I hope all the originals would come, oops! slip of the tongue! What shall I wear? According to the website it looks like there will be a large turnout for the party. Freddy, as always, let just enough details about the night to slip, making sure everyones imagination ran wild.

Think I'll head downtown. There is a warehouse store that specializes in Halloween decorations and costumes.

Halloween weekend was looking pretty full already, when an invite to a party came in from F&E.

I just love Halloween, and especially Halloween Parties. You know dressing up, dooking for apples, catching treacle pancakes(by your teeth, off strings...) and of course carving your turnip latern! Oh the fun.

I had a strange feeling that F&E's party might be a little different to these and that a Pumpkin costume(as worn previously) might not cut it...

Since I was going to be lazy and use a costume I already had on hand (not that anybody else had to know that), I had plenty of time to think about the people I might actually meet at this thing.

I tried PMing the people I'd met on the site, but everybody was keeping mum about if they were planning on going or not. Apparently, they wanted it to be a surprise. Heck, not that I'd actually recognize anybody right off the bat, anyhow. I started to think that'd be half the fun, trying to figure out which screen name went to which face (and body). I was looking forward to this thing more and more all the time...

I gently gnawed at my lower lip as I read the invite. Should I go? All other Halloween parties had been huge let downs, but this one had to be different... right? I sighed as I sent the RSVP, but decided not to worry about past experiences. Now what costume to wear? I didn't want to go for a classic bunny or cat costume, so I started surfing online and I finally found the perfect costume! Imagining myself in a black mini skirt, blue button up shirt, cap, black fishnet stockings and stiletto heels was exhilarating. But thinking of all the options my police belt had to offer made me shiver with delight. I wouldn’t need a can of mace, a gun, or a stick... I think I will keep the handcuffs. I had just gotten off the phone with Robert, the manager at Wabi Sabi, and everything was set. Two of their finest sushi chefs would be creating Halloween-themed rolls and the bar would be serving deep orange martinis and other wicked libations all evening long.

I happily laid the deposit down and things were put in motion...

. I had though of 'dressing up' (or perhaps down) as Lady Godiva. But maybe that wasn't leaving much to the imagination? I wasn't convinced that the Sushi restaurant would let the horse in!

I can't believe the night is here. I'm catching a cab from my hotel to the Wabi Sabi in about 45 minutes. Freddy has promised great sushi and drinks and maybe some sort of special serving surprise. With Freddy in charge, that could mean anything. As a GRITS girl, I am more comfortable with my fish battered in corn meal and deep fried, but if I can eat raw oysters, how bad could sushi be?

I looked in the mirror at my costume. No way is this what Disney had in mind for Snow White. Of course from things I've read, Old Walt was probably more into the drawfs anyway. My sheer white, thigh high stockings, attached to a white lace garter belt, matching bra and panties, covered by a semi sheer baby doll. I have never worn anything like this outside the bedroom. I pour another glass of courage, otherwise known as wine, and drink it down quickly.
