Hey guys
I have a new guy in tow right now and he's thinking of us going and buying lingerie together! ARGH! I don't have any and not sure what to look for where to look what to start with. I don't have ANY and never really thought about buying any before. Any suggestions?

Lingerie Dreams is a site I generally go to when I need some inspiration when it comes to lingerie.

The gal that runs the blog is a really nice woman that really appreciates classic lingerie, and doesn't hesitate to talk about why she likes what she does. Almost every entry includes a picture, but what I would suggest you do is go back to the beginning. You might find inspiration and, even better, support there for your endeavor.

While the above sites listed are great for inspiration, if this is your first foray and also going to be a couple activity, you can't go too wrong with starting out at Victoria's Secret. First off they can professionally measure you and help find what fits the best. I don't obviously have any personal knowledge of being measured for a bra, but from the way I understand it there are a ton of women out there in the wrong size and it can make a difference in comfort. But in any case since those stores are all over the place, there is most likely one close to you and your new boy can go right along with you plus be a part of the process. Shoot, I'm pretty sure he can hop in the dressing room with you too. Once you've got the basics down, then I'd recommend going to some of the other sites and trying out some new things. On Topless there are certain pieces of lingerie that look great and some that just never seem to fit right, so it's a big plus if you can find that out right when you're buying it or at least know what you're looking for. I really like her in decorative thongs. However she's got an awesome black outfit that consists of thong, bra, and garter. We haven't found a bustier yet that fits just right, but that along with a garter has to be my favorite piece of lingerie.

On EDDY, I like tanga panties and a corset - I LOVE a woman in a corset like nothing else. When we go to the SF Exotic Erotic Ball this October, you can be sure Eddy will be outfitted in one - probably custom made.

Not sure we have Victorias secret in canada but we do have La Senza and he is thinking of going into a "adult" store and picking up something for me.
I have tried on some stuff before in a store but never really liked how it fit.
BUck I have been "fit" so I know my correct size although my correct size seems to include the socks for stuffing! I've gone down a size!
I think we might end up on a "date" in a store and see what happens from there

Tigz, I would definately NOT recommend him going into the "adult" shop to buy lingerie (if your shops are anything like our shops--ewww). I agree with the sizing thing. When I got fitted, they said that I was a cup smaller and it was uncomfortable for me. I have a hard time finding bras especially that aren't not too pointy, too big, or doesn't fit right.

I think the date idea would be best that way you know to get something you will actually wear. I don't know how much money Buck has spent on items that I either didn't like or didn't fit right, even though the intention was cute.

Best bet in Canada is definitely La Vie En Rose..You can check them out online as well. Quality, sizes, sex appeal, got it all.
