smut apprentice, wife of B & dirty New England chick

Just a word about the Possibilities Room (Topless and Buck's lingerie store). They are to the lingerie business what F&E are to sexy toys. AWESOME! Topless spent a lot of time with me trying to find something that fit the bill, so for that I am definitely grateful! She was also dead-on about the sizing. So, when in doubt, ask! They're awesome about helping you. And, if you can't find what you're looking for, they can check other options for you too! I purchased this sexy set on Monday night, it shipped Tuesday, and I received it today (Thursday!). What a treat to go out to your mail box and see a nice package waiting for you The goodie bag and personal note are a nice touch, too. I can say that B will be very happy when he gets back!

I really liked that lace up panty that The Possibilities Room has. So much so in fact that I just placed an order for one to give to my wife.
Glad I looked through this thread.

SL-Please let me know how she liked them. I also have added my new maternity pieces to the store and one Valentine piece that was missing. I do have 3 new bra/panty sets that I still have to get in there. So if anyone is looking for something specific, please don't hesitate to ask.

New question in the lingerie thread. I looked through the archives and could not really find an answer. I like all the lingerie I have seen listed in this thread. Ok, I like women in lingerie period. I have noticed on some sites, that the lingerie is pretty pricey. $100 - $250 range. I understand that silk is expensive, but that's steep! I usually will max out around $50-$60 dollars and my wife doesn't think any less of me and has always appreciated the lingerie I have purchased her. Ladies, other than materials, what makes some of these things so expensive? Is it worth it? Would you feel sexier in a $200 chemise than a $40 chemise? Puzzled guy.

Well, materials of superior class are a LOT more expensive than synthetic fabrics and they are usually more delicate to work with so it is not difficult for prices to change quite abrubtly from, say, a syntethic brocade corset to a silk one.
Also the way a piece is made makes quite a difference. I have seen plenty of cheap (but really cheap, like 15 euros or so) chinese corsets and while some were really very pretty to look at they were also hopelessly thin stuff, which will look very good on the manequin, but will hardly survive any serious tumbling in the bed. ANd they wd never, never perform the original task of a corset, that is to give that wow shape to the body of a woman. If you are already wow shaped all well, but there wd be no way to pull those strings tight without opening it up at the seeams. I have seen very Expensive corsets (but very) wich looked so good to make me cry, made to mesure in a chioce of select materials, brocade, silk, velvets, you name it. They were some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and the price went from 300 EUROs up. Well who knows, in the next life perhaps...But I am fully convinced that the price was not exaggerated. Good craftmanship COSTS.
Topless has several beautiful corsets in a super attractive in-between category. I have two of them and I am really satisfied with them. I made the example of corsets because they are the only piece of lingerie for which I really keep my eyes open.
Last but not least, famous brands cost just for the name on the label wether the stuff is good or bad. To that there is alas, no remedy.
