OK ladies, I need your input on bras. I am reviewing some new ones for the store and most of the lines I tried are slightly padded, but one has no padding and is just lace with an underwire. It seemed to pretty comfortable, but I couldn't wear it under clothing because it shows the nipple far to much for my liking. Some of the other "lace" ones I have at least have a sheer lining or something to help tone down the nipple attention.

So my questions is: Do you wear/like to wear bras that have absolutely no lining? and why/how do you deal with the showing through your clothes? Maybe this type of bra is just meant for the bedroom and I'm ok with that, but I just want to make sure I'm not just missing something.

I don't wear unlined bras. I'm a 36C, and I don't feel they give much support or shape. I also don't like everyone knowing when it's a little chilly outside Also, sometimes without anything between you and the lace, nipples can get pretty chafed. Not very sexy. I've got to be honest here, if I had to chose between two sexy bras, one slightly padded and the other not, I'd go padded every time.

B jokingly calls my padded and shaped bras, my "armored" bras.

If B or I bought an unlined bra, it would just be for the bedroom. I wouldn't wear it out, unless I was wearing a thick sweater or something.

I also look for the same thing in bathing suits. Anything without a lining doesn't give much shape, and is pretty unflattering. In fact, I won't buy one without slight padding (not just lining). My best friend feels the same way; we actually had a conversation pretty similar to this over the summer when we went to the beach. Definitely another "lined bra" gal!

I only wear lined ones as well. I was at VS and a sales lady was showing me one that was unlined and I told her I didn't like showing my nipples. Keith was there and about fell out of his seat, with me talking to another chick about my nipples, lol. I don't mind wearing unlined ones in the bedroom/around the house though.

my wife is a c as well and has naturally erect nipples. she's had to deal with nipple protrusion her whole life. she doesn't like padded bras, and refuses to wear them...which is fine with me. she just says "if it bothers someone, they just need to deal with it"

americans are way too sensitive about this stuff.

I used to wear unlined bras but that was before I got into realizing I could become aroused and end up with THO's.(tity hard ons).

As for the 'showing through clothing'.. I used to wear clothing that was very loose fitting or wore sweatshirts over top during weather appropriate occasions.

When I'm doing something that requires activity of high endurance, I wear a sports bra and this shows off the nipples but in this type of an activity, i could care less, so no need to cover up anything overly..

I only extremely seldom wear bras of any kind, and if I do they are of the thinnest cotton, just sporty things. Not talking here of killer lingerie for sexy nights.
I have no problems if the nipples show. Damn they are so lovely, why trying to look as if you don´t have any?

I usually wear slightly padded bras for everyday wear, but like the unlined ones for the bedroom or going out at night.

All this underwear talk has got me anxious...I think you ladies need to start a 'Bra' picture forum. Both lined and unlined. Yes?

Before I stopped wearing a bra in January I used to like wearing a Balconette or shelf bra for those times when you knew nookie was going to happen they are so sexy just having basically the frame of the bra and having your breasts fully exposed no cup.I also had this hot pink silicone push up bra.
What is wrong with showing you have nipples they are very erotic and nothing looks better than erect nips through a sheer top.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I think that I will probably carry this one in just lace/ unlined since all of the other ones are lined/ padded. It is pretty sexy, in a hot red and would be perfect. This way there will be a little more variety too.

Actually Sexy 40, I do have one set that has a cupless bra, a thong, and a little garter skirt thing that shows just the bottom portion of the rear, very sexy. I was just waiting for the pics from the manufacturer, so I'll try to get them into the store soon.
