Since my knee surgery, everything about me has been jacked up, particularly my sleep cycles. In a nutshell, I have severe insomnia. It got to the point where the doctor put me on Ambien.

Now, some people can take Ambien with little side effect (other than sleep). My first go-round with Ambien, worked just fine. This time...not so much.

I took an Ambien, and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, I was in my nasty black teddy and matching thong. And by nasty, I mean uber-sexy. I had no recollection of putting it on, and I had no clue as to my reasoning for it. I live alone, and my new "relationship" is still in it's infancy where intimacy has not popped into the equation.

I figured this was an isolated incident, safe within the confines of my house. I mentioned this to New Guy, and he remarked that things suddenly made sense to him. It was would appear that in my Ambien-induced episode, I sent him a series of text messages detailing what I was wearing, and asked him what he wore when he was alone to make him feel sexy.

I was mortified. To the tenth power. Luckily, New Guy thought it was hilarious, and he's still sticking around. Yay for me.

So, let this be a warning. If you take Ambien, hide your phone...and your frilly unmentionables. The only thing that would have made this situation worse if I had decided to mow my yard in my uber-sexy getup.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming...

Maybe you should provide you location so that we can set up some sort of community watch. To make sure nothing bad happens to you.

Seriously -- I have heard news report of people ending up in different placed after taking sleeping pills -- I am sure you have already done this but make sure you speak with your doctor -- Maybe there is an alternative -- like warm milk or something.

well known side effect of Ambien is Sleepwalking.
in fact a hotel chain in Britain, has made up a guide for hotel staff on what to do with naked sleepwalkers. (i doubt its called the ambien arms)

you need to talkk to you doctor about an alternative....maybe scotch and water.

OMG I soo needed that laugh this morning! Wish I had seen the post the first time around!

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall watching you dither around your room getting dressed. Even better would have been seeing the look on your face when you woke up!

What a total coincidence coming across this thread.

Im also an Ambien user (only a 1/2 each night)

My wife mentioned to me that in an attempt to roll me over.......(no, not for that, I was snoring)...I proceeded to punch her in the arm...

I dont remember a thing....

But after reading's "heads" hysterical experience, I might have to get my wife to take it.....someday.

My fella takes sleepers some nights and Iv caught him sleep walking, he phones me with random coversations and when Im asleep next to him one of these nights Im sure im going to end up with some unexplainable bruises, although he thinks its hillaerous! It does make me chuckle!

I don't like to take the pills but needs must. I use Zopiclone which are a Hypnotic drug.

and every morning after i check my phone to see what i've been upto! Some texts can be very funny with lots of made up words!

God knows what i get up to though went i'm out!

Wow headhurt, you should really save a few of those pills and see if you can get your new guy (if you're still with him) into some sexy mens underwear. See what he says the next day
