Well, I suppose there are two main modes of posting here: asking questions or sharing your own experience. WHile the main subject of the forum is sexuality in all its different aspects you may notice that there is a "Platonically speaking" area where non sexual threads are grouped. A good place to start posting if you are shy. Also "Getting to know you" is a good forum where to break the ice. As for the rest surf through the various threads and see if there is something where you feel like contributing opinions or experience, or feel curious to know more and ask questions. Happy posting!

In addition to what Flakey elequently said, try going into the Chat area -- you might be more inclined once you get to know some people better. I know I join once in a while but Nigel lurks there all the time. Do not worry about being shy -- Remember you are an anonymous as you wish to be and in chat you WILL be drawn into the conversation -- even when Nigel and Firestater start talking tools! Wink

Flakey?? Snow is in no way flakey! Chat rooms work for some people - not for others, personally I will never go into a chat room - I simply get confused by several people talking at once! Added to which differences in time zones me I am in the land of nod when most of you are chatting away... and G would object strongly if I wasn't Smiler

Piere check out the threads, find one that you can relate to and post to it... never mind if it has not been active for ages - your post may be all it needs to get it up and running again.

I don´t know. Am I flakey? What´s flakey? Lets see!

Thesaurus, Flakey:

Adj. 1. flakey - made of or resembling flakes; "flaky soap" Probably not.
flaky
2. flakey - made of or easily forming flakes
flaky I can be brittle under stress. Wonder if it is the same?
tender - easy to cut or chew; "tender beef" I hope never to find out about this!
3. flakey - conspicuously or grossly unconventional or unusualCOnspicously unconvetional... probably yes... grossly... hope not); "restaurants of bizarre design--one like a hat, another like a rabbit"; "famed for his eccentric spelling"Very probable, try to juggle the spelling of four different languages in one confused brain...; "a freakish combination of styles"No doubt about this; "his off-the-wall antics"no doubts about this either; "the outlandish clothes of teenagers"?; "outre and affected stage antics"??
bizarreyes, eccentricyes, gonzo???, off-the-wallwell, I am not a framed painting, after all, outlandishin relation to what country exactly?, outrenot much, freaky????, flakythat is what we are trying to find out, no?, freakishyou have no idea
unconventionalyes - not conventional or conformistyes yes; "unconventional life styles"Most definitely.

Beat me to it, ajay! Haha. Snow, biscuits (the kind you would eat with dinner, not the cookie kind) are both tender and flaky, and very good Smiler I personally think we're all a little flaky, but maybe I should speak for myself Wink
