I'm looking to rent dvd's online. We only would rent maybe six a year and what I see online is kind of expensive. Is that the only way to go? Thanks.

I have had a lot of success with www.xrentdvd.com. It provide a monthly plan but also offers single time renters. Descrete, Good prices and above average customer service. You have about a week to watch and return (Postmarked). I have yet to not find for which I was seeking.

We rent on extremely rare occasions and rented w/ xrentdvd.com before and were happy (just like netflix). But they have gotten high for our -once in a while- needs. I was looking into an alternative and found that www.adultdvdempire.com allows 'a la cart' rentals for a fairly reasonable price. We haven't rented from them yet, but I have been happy with purchases from there before. We will probably rent from them next.

We go the VOD route from DVD empire and have good luck with that system. Rent and download to my computer which is hooked up to the TV. Not quite DVD quality but better than VHS.

You also might try out www.wantedlist.com. They have been around for some time too.

We've really gotten huge use out of streaming VOD... if you have a broadband fiber or cable modem, that's been the way to go for us. Folks are usually sensitive about mentioning specific names, so I'll just say to google "adult streaming video on demand" and check out those links.

You can search by any subject, actor/actress, director, company, fetish, etc., and the one we use recently added very detailed scene search functions. My wife and I have very specific likes and dislikes, and I usually browse, then 'save for later' the ones I think she'd enjoy and we watch together.
