I am soooooo excited about this and it's not even scheduled till January. We are closing in on booking (once we make sure he can get the proper leave filled out).

At first we talked about going to Vegas where we had our first official vacation together... but we just couldn't think of it in terms of romantic honeymoon goo. Then Jamaica entered the picture, and the entire concept of the Hedonism resorts was just so darn appealing how could we resist?

At first, I was really worried about how customs might react to finding a bunch of sex toys packed into the luggage until I remembered where I was going, Lol!

I've been reading websites galore about this place, and I was just wondering if anyone here had ever gone?

If your worried about the sex toys and customs, just pack them in a box and send them off to the hotel about a week beforehand. call ahead and tell them you will have a pacakge coming in your name.

I have thought about doing this with my camping gear when I go out west.

I've read a lot of good reviews about Hedo, plus some not-so-good ones. I'm looking forward to hear about yours, Artist.

Heroic - I am not too worried about being looked at funny provided they don't think they're anything other than what they are. I have heard that people bring a lot of really "strange" stuff so I imagine the customs folks may be used to it. But I am always a little paranoid... and I'd probably worry my box of goodies would get lost in the mail but that really is a savvy idea.

Jem and headhurt - I will definitely come back and post a report about the place as I've also heard the good and the bad but never had anyone pinned down to ask questions to. So after it happens, feel free to ask away. If this place is as good as we imagine it, we're hoping to be become repeat customers.

We just booked the resort and the air! So barring a natural disaster and what have you, we are good to go (well that and finishing paying for it all lol)! Our travel agent was able to get us a great deal well under the price quoted on the main website, and because we will be going within 30 days of our marriage we get to stay one night free! Granted it's still spendy, but I just imagine it is going to be a blast!

T-Rex... I've heard the Sandals is also very nice but after our year apart a place like hedo might just be in order (at least we are hoping).... and I highly doubt I'd be active let alone awake for most of the morning anything

Twolips, I will most definitely be dropping in a report here after we go in January... I have been having one hell of a month so maybe the report will be slightly skewed since it can't be worse than my life right now. Had the first deer I ever got stolen from my parents home while I was back home (it was a shoulder mount), just had all of my mail massively sent back to sender when the post office decided it didn't have to alert me that my payment was due so I went on vacation and boom everything is gone (thus the welcome home fredericks of hollywood lingerie order is all GONE and out of stock... and then ups lost it so I might as well just totally give up on that... I could go on and on but frankly as long as my fiancé gets back next month from Iraq, I'll just grit my teeth and smile about everything else...

I got my passport application in and it's being processed... and the fees for that will be refunded through a promotion with hedo right now... so hey at least I can save 90+ bucks

For some reason, all of the nudists I know who go to Hedo II, keep going back. I think that says it all!
