OK, this is to continue discussions and get feedback for our weekly (maybe even more often) Podcasts.

So far, we've loved the suggestions and have removed the music (and will integrate the Rev's advice on adding a little information blurb to get full selections from the snippets we play in between segments). The new version of our first cast will be up by 12:30pm today.

Jar, each weekly file is between 40-60 megabytes, which is small these days.

Just in case you've forgotten, we want some of YOU to come on with us. We should have a way to capture phone conversations in place by Friday, so anyone who'd like to call in with a question or allow us to interview you, please let us know via e-mail and we'll set it up.

Oh, any suggestions for what we should call our little show?

"This American Sex Life" We LOVE it, but you'd have to share the conversation with Ira Glass and we'd wonder if you were going to have the same 5-act format.

Yeah, I love the name, too, Rev. However, because I love Ira Glass's show, I wouldn't want to get in any tifs over the name similarities. I guess we'll just have to stick with "The Freddy and Eddy Show," eh?

And, uh, what would it take to have you come on to discuss sex and religion with us? We'd give you all the platform you need with no pandering or religious denigration at all. Whattya say?

you know if you want a nursing perspective, I am always here as well. There is such a weath of personalities on this site you can pick and choose.

The Freddy and Eddy Show has a nice ring to it.

As for the invite, geeze Freddy, it's just a cryin' shame I'm not all studied and scholarly on sex and religion or I'd take you up on the idea.

I could offer plenty of layman's knowledge about how Judaism considers sex a mitzvah and how they incorporate frequency of sex into the marriage contract. I could give my personal take on what the ministry of Paul had to say about sex, but I couldn't really speak with any kind of authority the way NN can discuss it from a medical point of view.

I guess it really depends on what kind of an angle you're going for. If you just want a practicing Christian's POV on how sex fits in with religion, sure; okay we can set it up. If you'd like to have an ordained clergyperson discuss it, I'm not sure who to call.

In fact, this is EXACTLY what I want. And Nurse, we have "special" plans for you, so I'll give you all the details once they're worked out.

In truth, I'd love to have everyone from here come on at some point. I truly believe the folks here have the most interesting stories in that they're REAL. Let's get them out there.

I LOVED your podcast Freddy you have such a sweet voice...very relaxing/peaceful. Can we use this area to comment on the topics from the show? Are you going to get your podcast on I tunes like Violet blue???

Can you use the title from the LA Weekly "From Behind Our White Picket Fence" with Freddy and Eddy ?????? I always liked that...it's just how you are... our neighbors regular folks like all of us here. Informing us.

And you do need to plug your items and tell people where they can purchase them don't be modest (if it wasn't for your guest we wouldn't have heard a thing). She was great BTW. You're doing us all a huge service to filter through all the stuff out there and bring us items we'll like.

The Rev.'s idea to link us to the bands you're trying to promote is good and just use a snippet for intro fade in/out. It all seems very smooth instrumental stuff and you could do the intro voice over right on top of the track. I saw that equipment you have!

Freddy the music is part of what you like it can be quirky..we love you guys. You'll make it fit so it doesn't torture others...think of it like something cool you mention in passing like a tease. Those who get it can link and those who don't will just hear background music.

And Eddy was sick after all, I know she's not shy...leave her alone.

"When the clothes come off" brought up so many memories very cute and surprising. I think I was related to that high school girl of yours Freddy. I was so "prepared" my first time I had the whole roll with me... HAhahhaha!

We just posted our SECOND Podcast, which came out pretty darned good if I may say so. I resisted my musical urges and only put ONE full length song in toward the end; however, I think folks will forgive it once it kicks in. I was quite clever in my choice!

I know you were being modest I've read many of your posts (and Wifey's) and they're always informative and thoughtful. I myself have issues with religion, pitted against, my new interests here and would enjoy your perspective.

Big news - our Podcast was accepted by iTunes! Now you iPod/iPhone/iWhatever users out there have no excuse not to download us into your lives.

Just go to the iTunes store and type in "Freddy and Eddy" and it'll pop up just like THAT.
