I wanted to put in in a subcategory but haven't figured out how to do that yet without completely revamping how this is all set up, so...

We have a new forum! It's here on a mostly trial basis to see how you folks like it, but I think it has great potential.

I have a new forum suggestion, "Cock Rings". OMFG, how much can one say about fu#king cock rings?

Just give them their own forum and they can talk shop about their little o-rings all they want all day.

They can talk about changing the oil in their trucks while wearing their cock rings.

This way I don't have to waste my time wandering into the Sex Toy forum only to be once again bored out of my mind by people talking about prematurely stretching out their sacks.

Actually, I think us admins could roll several of the threads on cockrings into one big thread. The problem lies in the fact that this particular forum doesn't have any rules against what we generally refer to as "reposts" on other boards I moderate on. Therefore, we have as you've described 50 different threads on cockrings.

However, to be quite fair, we also tons of threads on different member pictures, my husband isn't interested in sex anymore, how do I shave properly, gee I found this was a cute game why don't I post it to annoy everyone else, etc, etc type threads.

Sorry if you guys aren't into cock rings, but many members are and that's the way it's probably going to stay until the members find something new to focus on. We might look into adding male/female toy forums, but then again who decides if it is a male or female toy? My guess is we probably all have to live with it or live with a more totalitarian state on the entire forum. My vote is for keeping it as is. Ang? Freddy?

Umm... for now, I'm okay with leaving it as it is.

I'm kind of staying out of a lot of threads lately, though, because people are really testy this week and not exactly being the nicest to each other - with my pregnant hormones, I'm choosing to keep my mouth shut over opening it and pissing even more people off.

And cockrings still count as sex toys - I don't think there's that much need for separating the sexes in the sex toy forum but maybe making some stickies and creating a set of rules for reposting would be in order. I personally delete any obnoxious new posts about the chat rooms 'not working' because there's plenty of threads on it already.

But Buck.. the annoying games arent that annoying.. and there is a forum for it, so it isnt popping up everywhere and i think most threads pop back up over and over again because most people feel bad for reviving a dead topic and jsut creating a new one. Or for myself I didnt know that some topics had been discussed waaaaay back.. and so I bring them up.

Don't worry about offending Ang's sensibilities (she's pregnant ya know) and she'd probably put on a verbal beat down if she really was annoyed by someone. So please continue posting away, it's nice to actually see some action on the boards. We hit a pretty quiet spot a couple months back when we switched to this board. I'd much rather us admins have to round up the stragglers over sitting on our butts all day.

I do have to go along with Husband here, the pics portion of the site could use some cleaning up. As you may have figured out I am a new and empassioned user of the afore mentioned product line but there are sooo many different threads dedicated them and pics of them that it is getting a bit difuse.

My sudgestion is:

One Cock Ring thread for discussion in the toys section,

A thread under the pics for Cock ring pics
or
a pure one for "members" pics regardless if they are adorned, decorated or not. Ask yourself, If there was a pierced pic in the "Kitty" thread would it be aprpreate to open a new discussion on that topic or continue in the earlier thread.

Finaly, some sort of conduct guidelines would be a good idea. I don't think any of the frequent members would do anything to any of the others but this is an open forum and stray surfers may come and participate once they are registered. Please don't formalise the boards too much,at least no more than is absolutely necessary, i enjoy finding info. dotted all over the place, after all this is a fun site about SEX in all its wonderous shapes and forms. If we make the requirements too formal and ridged I for one will likely stop posting. Having to think 'Now, is this really the right bit or the forum to post this to - or is it okay to start a new thread on this topic...'

I am not sudgesting that they be formalized just more contained.
Think of it like this: Whipped cream (the real stuff not cool whip) can and is fun during sex play but I believe it is better and more enjoyable if it is applied in dollups and not with a poor. Heck, if some lands where you were not intenting it to be then it can be the first bit to be licked off.

Not only does this raise anticipation but makes you more eager to enjoy the "deserts" of your labor.

NN, we're working on compiling a set of rules and general guidelines to post here. With the recent influx of new members, we're finding it's becoming difficult to maneuver the boards and oftentimes very good threads get 'lost in the sauce' because people are posting new threads to ask the same questions over and over.

Manually cleaning up the boards is a real pain in the ass, lemme tell you, but lately it's become more and more necessary as people pay less attention to what they're posting.

I'll get working on it more after I take a hopefully stress relieving nap - I'd rather attack this fresh and not pre-irritated.
