I would like it if the box used to enter the messages were a lot bigger. It's just about the only thing on the page, so why can't it take up most of it?

Hi ya' Wowser,
Yeah, I usually leave the box at the size it pops out as. But... you can grab the gray frame at the bottom right (where it has diagonal lines) and pull to make the Reply screen or PM screen as big as you want. The font isn't the same one that shows in the final message and the happy faces and colors are represented as code in the box you're typing into also. Maybe it bugs you if you're used to another layout somewhere else???
I only write here so I like it fine but:

Sometimes if it doesn't look the way you wanted it to you can click on the folder at the bottom that has the pencil eraser to "update/Edit" your original message. Like add a space if it looks like a run-on or something. If you do it right after, it doesn't show that your message was changed which I like 'cuz I spelllls stuffs wrong all th time. Hhaha Big Grin

I never could get anything to move. I tried dragging all the lines on the page.

If I'm posting something long, then the box is too small for me to get any sense of the formatting. For this reason, I'll compose longer posts in Word, and then copy and paste.

Click on reply then go to the bottom of the message box where you will see a grey bar. A the right hand side of the bar there are 3 diagonal lines, click on the lines and pull the box to any size you want it to be

Hmmm...not seeing a grey bar at the bottom of the box, and definitely not see three diagonal lines at the right of it. I've tried to click and drag on every feature of the reply page, but nothing moves; indeed, nothing looks like it WOULD move.

Jill, you said something about the message box "popping out." I don't understand this. When I click "Reply," it just brings up another web page that has a text box and a few controls on it.

Thanks to everyone for trying to help.

I belive that GG is referring to the bottom of the small pop up screen. You could also simply maximize the whole pop up.

Oh, ok. Thanks, Nigel.

I'm using the latest version of Internet Explorer, so the reply page just comes up in another full sized tab within my browser.

I don't think there's any help for my problem. It's not that bad a problem, anyway. I just continue composing long posts in Word and transferring them.
